About the Doctor

Dr. Joe Albert

Dr. Albert graduated with Magna Cum Laude honours from New York Chiropractic College in 2003 with both a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and a Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.P.S.) with a concentration in health sciences. He has been a credentialed provider of Active Release Techniques Soft Tissue Management System since 2002, obtained certification in contemporary medical acupuncture and sports acupuncture from McMaster University in 2004, in 2006 received certification in Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and became certified in Functional Range Release in 2014.  Dr. Albert’s special interest in sports injuries has afforded him the opportunity to work with some unique groups, including: international marathon runners (Syracuse & Rochester, NY), National Triathletes, elite track athletes as a chiropractor at the 2003 Junior Pan-American Games in Barbados, competitive body builders, professional hockey players, amateur mixed martial artists, and NCAA division I athletes.

Dr. Albert has been in private family practice in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario since January 2004 and has obtained extensive experience in the treatment of a multitude of conditions with patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly.
